I finished my doll, I made everything except for the head (but I did do the faceup) But... I don't know what scale he is XD.

His hands look a little strange because they are meant for leaning on, I need to make some grabbing hands so he can hold his staff.

His head is an Obitsu angela, but I widened the eyes.

Please tell me what you think!

I think he looks cute!

Probably a 1/6 or "tiny critter" depending on how tall he is.

He is 11.5 inches, 30CM, right on the borderline between 1/6th and 1/4th i think. I'd put him in the 1/4th scale just because of his proportions. his hands, head, and torso is closer to my 1/4th bobobies, he's just got short limbs.

MSD is 34cm to 46cm, so he would likely be classified as a big headed YO size and fall into the 1/6th catagory.
I have always been confounded by the use of 1/3, 1/4 and 1/6 as groupings for the dolls. Mature MSDs would be 1/4th SCALE adults, as in 1 inch = 4 inches, but imature or childlike MSD's would mathmatically be 1/3 SCALE because they are meant to represent a shorter child IRL....>.> my math brain is bothered by this.... but it would be quite a mess to catagorize them that differently I suppose! I guess we have to have a simpler system based on actuall height to keep it user friendly.

Thanks for the info Leopardess :)

it does make sense to make it height based, but my little guy was really intended to hang out with my 1/4th dolls. I guess all group pics are doomed to the misc. scale board forever.

And on the 1/6th board he'll just be a giant... or a fat hujoo XD

So cute! I love that you made your own body. The hands on-ness of this hobby is the best. And yes, scale is confusing. I understand how to figure it perfectly, but assigning dolls into the proper categories is hard, for all the reasons leopardessmoon already gave.
