Well, I think it might have been all the Iple dolls, Minimes, and similar dolls, including the other bigger model Dollmore dolls that are allowed. I just pointed out that they're rather like all those. When you really look at them they're a lot more like regular BJD's than like say a Jamie Show or Tonner BJD. Sara is a bit more like a fashion model but Essex has a more BJD like face than not. There is a bit of a fashion thing going on but they're still a lot more like those big dolls than they are the more fashion oriented kind. I really did not see why they were not allowed versus say an MSD Iple. Many BJD's are really getting to be more and more realistic in terms of looking like actual people instead of like anime inspired dolls. You see a lot of male bodies now that are more buff and females that are meant to look like models. Sara is very like an Iple SD doll if you ask me. She's just smaller.
If an Iple MSD sized doll can be allowed then why not these? There is a big trend towards these dolls. They're getting to be very popular and very mainstream. Iple, Granado, Soom, etc they're some of the most coveted dolls out there and they do have a lot of dolls in their lines that are more adult looking these days. Most of the older dolls are still SD size but that's changing. I'm seeing more MSD sized dolls now too. I think we'll be seeing more of that not less. DOA the mods I think they saw that, what I was saying and just went with it. I'm glad. I really wanted to have those two as my main MSD pair. I intend to use them a lot for photo shoots.
