Definitely an interesting and thoughtful thing to read right after waking up from a nap. Glad to see they will find a lovely home with you. :D
A hobby isn't supposed to leave you wistful, regretful and vaguely disappointed. BJD collecting is as customizable as the dolls themselves. Do whatever pleases you the most, because otherwise, why do it at all? All for the 'Gram Bitches love the 'Gram.

I still have a few odd feelings about just keeping them but it really kind of ticked me off when she told me they Ebayed them. That's my worst fear with my dolls. That I will kick it and my family will just sell them off for nothing because they have no idea of what to do with them. I've got a list and a will and some instructions but I really do need to update that. It's been a while and there are quite a few dolls I will need to add to that list. I'm still trying to find out her name at least. It's really, really weird having some dead woman's doll heads not knowing who she is when she actually lived in my house.

But I have no doubt she loved them. They were wrapped individually in tissue and cotton, taped, then stored carefully, each one in a separate slot in that box. As anal as I can be about my dolls I don't do that wrap every single head. I have tons of Barbie heads and even a few bigger ones, but they're just tossed in plastic gallon bags in a big storage container with the piles of dolls I can't display right now. I have bubble under the whole dolls and stacked between in some cases, but I don't roll them in it and tape them all down, each doll. Whoever this woman was she either loved them to death or she had a terrible case of OCD.

Yeah, I can understand having mixed feelings, I think I would too. But if you try and fail to find those people, there isn't much you can do. And if they're only interested in the monetary value, whatever those heads are worth must be peanuts compared to the thousands of dollars they got from the rest of the collection anyway. I say just give those heads a good home. :)
