I thought I'd mentioned this, but can't find where... For May the 4th I had a little splurge on Amazon. The results haven't arrived, but I picked up some 1/6 scale Star Wars figures that were cheap-ish. Grand Moff Tarkin, Qui-Gon, Ultimate Hair Amidala (so I don't have to recreate one of her hairdos with a barbie, whew!), and a two pack of little DUM Pit droids! I have no idea about the joints on any of em yet.
Playscale-Obsessed Mad Scientist with more cheap vinyl dolls than I'm willing to count.
Check out my 1/6 scale fabrics on Spoonflower!

A Fashionista Theresa Barbie and 2 clothes packs came my way this afternoon via a gal pal's kid. Lia had a birthday party yesterday and she's really not a Barbie doll fan. Doesn't do dolls much at all actually she's a bit of a tomboy. She handed them over to me when I went over there after lunch. I told her we could probably take her to Target or TRU and they'd swap them for something else but she said she had enough presents and that she liked to give presents on her birthday too. Apparently she also gave some toys away after the party to her two little BFF's too and she asked her Mom to put one in the closet for Christmas for "poor kids" meaning the Toys For Tots program I guess. I love this kid, grin. She's just seven today and she's totally awesome already!

Snagged a DZ Shoyo head off the DoA marketplace for a pretty low price... I'm hoping the sculpt/skintone are a good match for my Mirodoll body.
I have so many dolls that I can't fit all their names in my signature anymore. @__@

She will probably end up being Tiberion the Shark God's head, although the head might have other plans for itself once it gets here... they usually do

This little girl! I was able to resist the 11cm until now. But I could NOT resist the adorable little Pixie heads Junkyspot sells. And a pair of beads work great for eyes (unlike the actual eyes which are too big to fit without the eye posts knocking into the neck post).

Her name is Tagalong.

Now I gotta go out to find some Kelly dolls to mug for their clothes. Something fairy-like would be good. :)

Also, bought two GORGEOUS dresses from a seller on Ebay for my 65 girl. They're actually designed for Iplehouse EID and SID. The SID fits her perfectly, but the EID is a bit loose in the bust. lol

And non-doll related, bought a pair of Bluetooth earphones for when I take walks. These work MUCH better than the last pair I bought. It's got a little control clip I can clip onto my shirt, and the cord plugs into it. Of course, the phones it came with SUCK with sound quality. I mean, I'm no audiophile but even I could tell they weren't good in comparison with my other earphones (I was expecting it, though, due to reviews). But the earphones I have aren't that great either (too much excess noise), so I bought another pair of noise-reduction earbuds that have good bass. Now I can enjoy my walks without taking my iPod or phone out of my pocket every time I want to change a song or adjust volume, and I don't have cords flopping in the way and pulling the earbud out every time I turn my head.

Oh geez, went to McKay's and ended up buying too many books. I've got such a weak spot and they had so many fun history texts to read. <3

Megu-Chun's default wig was on spring sale at Audrey's doll gallery. And then I bought a few more short wigs for the big guy as well..... Threw in 1/6 mohair version of her wig just to see what it would feel like
