Thoughts on ResinSoul dolls

RS and Bobobie dolls company pics just...Suck most of the time. I think the only ones that don't suck of their company pics are Mei, Bei and Yu.

Song welp...>A> If it wasn't for my Song's old owner's pics I wouldn't have ever considered one...And Avalon's my favorite doll at that. He's just...So much effing fun to hold, photograph, sew for, find props for...He's special to me. The company pics of Song though...They really suck.

Yet another chiming in on the plus side for RS. I have 5 of them.

old blue Jun (MSD)
dark tan Yao head/Ming body (MSD)
WS Bao (tiny)
dark grey Bao (tiny)
red Pixiu (tiny)

They are great dolls and aside from the MSD's needing to be re-strung when I got them, they can stand and hold poses just fine. The tinies didn't need re-stringing at all, BTW. Shoes for the MSD's are a little tough to find because of their narrow feet but they are elegant dolls.

I'm definitely falling into the deep end fast. I just picked up a WS Resin Soul Lu vampire and a Magical Angel Kelly head from DOA this evening. Got them both for $125 shipped. I had been eying that RS sculpt for a while, liked the fangs, but hated the huge ears. Also had my eye on the Kelly head. As it turns out it was the same person who had put both up so that just worked out right. Tonight she listed an older Lu, $100, ears already modded and I went and checked my wallet to see if I could swing half as a down payment. I can, so I snagged them. If I can get Miro to add a white 60cm boy body to my green SD girl and do a lay-a-way on those two I will. If not he's going to have to wait a bit for a body, but we'll get him one eventually. This is kind of perfect though. One SD green girl, an SD white boy, 2 human MSD's in NS, a MSD elf and now an MSD vampire.

Let's see that will make what, 6 resin dolls in like 4 months? One was swapped for, and one is used, plus a head is used. The other 3 are Miro dolls so it' s not like I broke the bank but I've definitely been living large, for me, lol. These dolls will pay for themselves eventually. I fully intend to use them as models for stuff I am making and I don't think it will be long once people get a look at my stuff before I can pay down what I've put into them. I still want a RS Dai eventually and my Dollmore couple. I suppose it could be worse. I could be spending the rent on Iple dolls.... I'm not going to buy a Dai or the Dollmore's though till these are paid off and making me $$$$$. Well, not unless I see a Dai for some crazy low price in which case I'd have to go there maybe because I totally want one...

These RS dolls they're so totally getting me though. I'm hooked, just love them, sigh...

Teehee! Definitely know that feeling! Though due to my OCD tendencies I insisit on every doll having a different body sculpt, which is beginning to make things awkward! Since I think they should have as much variation in their body shape as their face sculpts. But I've got to admit RS just might persuade me that this self-imposed rule is a silly idea; they've got so many sculpts that I adore, at the very least I think a RS Gang is probably going to happen at some point... Since he was one of my gateway doll sculpts!
