Cut off eye post anyone?

Have you ever modified eyes by cutting them in half and removing the eye post
to make them half-eyes?
My Glastic realistic eyes don't seem to come apart so I was thinking of somehow
doing it myself..... dremel?
or should I just buy some half ones ?

I have never turned glass eyes into half eyes, but I have definitely removed the posts from many of them because they stuck out too far. I've pulled acrylic eyes in half often for similar reasons. I'm not sure about actually cutting glass eyes. I imagine it can be done, but I'm not sure I'd want to try it unless I had a cheap pair I didn't care about.

Yeah, I would be careful with the glass. I've etched glass with a dremel, but never tried to grind it apart. I'm not sure how it would hold up.

Glastic are made of acrylic - I cannot seem to pull them apart even though I see a seam.
Think I will try cutting the post off instead of trying to make it a perfect half.

OH I did it! I took a teeny weeny screw driver and forced it between- it was glued.

Yeah, I have pried eyes apart to make them half-rounds.
