CustomHouse Vinyl Dolls

Oh dear . . . CH cuties again, but now in vinyl . . . and $128.00 for both fullsets . . .

Still not all that interested in child sculpts presently, but what do you experienced vinyl doll owners think of the information CH has on their new dolls vs resin?

Well, the thing is, they are, as far as we can tell, still strung like resin dolls. So the only major difference I can automatically think of is one of weight - vinyl will be much lighter. And of course staining will be much more likely to occur as well.

Cirque ordered a set months ago, but like most CH stuff they are sloooooow arriving. However, I should have my vinyl bjd Delilah Noir next week, so I'll post my opinion of her then :)

What do I think? I wish I had $128 to order them because that's a two-fer! Plus they are fullsets AND I think that little girl looks like a Nano-Haruka head. I have a Goodreau vinyl, and I like her a lot. She actually has less staining issues than I thought she would too. And I have seen Delilah and she's gorgeous!

I was thinking the same thing - about the girl doll looking like a nano-haruka!

Wow, that is tempting for the price, good prices all around. Gonna look and see if one of them will work for my family.

Would like to know how their normal compares to Dollzone white, the Raphael looks good but she only comes in normal :/

CH's normal is . . . well . . . normal. A fair skin tone I think (I understand CH only does white skin for special limited editions). I don't know how the vinyl skin tone look compared to the resin (unless the comparison pics can be relied on).

I think both of them are really adorable, but with customhouses poor customer service as of late I'd be hesitant to buy anything from them :( it's a shame because the price is really good for these two.

I ordered the choco fondue twins on May 15th, still don't have them. I ordered my Customhouse Cebee on January 4th and just got her last week (8 months). I don't know what is going on with Customhouse, but they have certainly had some really significant issue. The last message I got from them, they said the dolls would ship "end of September". My Cebee did finally ship on September 10th, when they said. However, other people are getting "middle of October" for the shipping date for their vinyl dolls.
SO.. I guess they will arrive when they arrive. I'll post them as soon as they get here. The price is incredible- two fullsets for $128. They are officially "not allowed" on DoA, which I think is a little silly because they look exactly like the resin dolls (just a tinch smaller), and I don't know how they are going to police it unless people point out that they are vinyl.

Oh some anal retentive vinyl hating DoAer will be sure to point them out as evil OT dolls and get posts deleted. You know there is a Mod-wannabe somewhere over there waiting for the challenge.
