I am hesitant to buy one because I bought a Freya and did not like her, not one bit...
I have so many dolls that I can't fit all their names in my signature anymore. @__@

at first i was very tempted to get freya.. but i dont really like her female body.. so i decided if i get 1 maybe i will sand it down.. and her eyes have very big opening.. which kinda make me have a dislike to freya.. and thinking if i get it i will putty her eyes.. then again.. after i read on freya with headcap problem i got even more push off.. :? (my personal feeling for freya, dont get offended) but when i saw freyr.. it was like a dream come true for me.. smaller eyes and no ball like breast! :o and i intend to bring him around with me.. so he can go out to outings with me and with his size its just nice~ :P

but why didnt u like your freya? is it cause of the bonding or other problems with her?

I'm tempted, do they basically use the same body as the regular Hujoos like the Berry? I know the paws would be different.

It's one of those things where if I did buy another Hujoo it would make sense to get a boy and make a pattern book. I'm not big on them either, I don't care much for the big head thing, but being a kitty could make it easier.

I got two, and I adore them! The headcap is MUCH easier than Freya's. So that's one problem to not worry about, it's totally different so not only does it come off and on more easily, but it doesn't gap weirdly because of the neck.

Image

Here are Jean and Luc waiting for their eyes (the spares I had on hand were ALL the wrong size).

Image

Here are the boys with Freya Alice. You can see that the connection of her faceplate and head is sort of split right down, and her neck causes it to not fit flush. On the Freyrs, it's more like a slice of the back of the skull is taken off, and it fits much better (Luc's is on a little loosely here but even so it does not gap the way Alice's does. Meanwhile, Jean seems to have merely a visible seam).

Image

And there's Alice and Luc for the most direct comparison shot I have of the two sculpts atm. Granted, it would look better if they both had eyes, but... (could have sworn I had at least one pair in the correct size... could have sworn wrong)

I definitely can't recommend them highly enough! I have two of the Freyas as well, though only one showed up in these photographs... but yeah, of my four kitties, they're all cute, but Freyr has a much easier head to deal with!

I have one! Unfortunately, like his sister, he's in pieces until he is modded and painted XD;;; SO happy they fixed the head cap issue with him instead of making him like Freya. I will be puttying his eyes, though, because I find the eyeholder makes him look too far upwards with the Hujoo Cat Eyes.
