Daisy (Marguerite)

Postby cirquemom » Sat May 25, 2013 8:20 pm

I decided to go ahead and use the last Mary head that Gerald (Zircon's SO) cast in resin for me. So I have been sanding it and got a new (old) body. AND I finally decided on a name for her: Marguerite, but her nickname is Daisy.

Thank you! I wanted a green-eyed redhead. I just ordered her size 16 eyes- these are 14. I may like the larger ones better- or maybe not.

It's weird how different she looks from Mary and Melisande. That always surprises me.

It is kind of funny, isn't it? Each head is slightly different due to the molding process, and then each one has been sanded and modded a bit too. Mary and Daisy are the same color- a yellowed DZ white (which is like an ivory), and Melisande is paper white. So-slightly different resin colors, little tweaks, different wigs and eyes, different face paint. :)

Oops. Little glitch there.
I was going to finally do her face-up today and guess what? OF COURSE IT'S RAINING!!!!
GAH!!!!!
EVeryone loves that wig. I have ordered her another one, and then found this one in my enormous pile O' wigs. Now I really like this one. So I just spent thirty bucks for nothing.
