Woo, I finally put away the last box in my room! I don't have a lot of room, but I got a small bookcase/side table that matches the rest of my furniture well enough at a flea market so I could move things around and finally take my little TV out and put it on a stand.

My urethane eyes just shipped and I have the tracking number. They'll get here next week sometime, probably around the same time as my wig! It's been a super long time since I got any doll stuff so I am excited.

Awesome birthday was awesome! I had an absolute blast today. We did breakfast at the Huddle House (my favorite redneck hangout. best to wear a ball cap), went bike riding, visited my granddad, went out to a giant Chinese joint for dinner, and had ice cream on the way home. I feel a lot younger than the number suggests. And of course there was cake. It's not a birthday without cake. <3

If I may...
*squeels happily*
I put twenty dollars down on a dark tan Sweet Dolls Allison yesterday at A-kon and I'm paying the rest for him today when I go back. He's so adorable and I can't wait. He comes with this outfit and wig and eyes and.... *squeels again* I'm going to get pictures of him up here as soon as I can. Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay so happy!

Some faith is restored in humanity, the van from the motor stealing case was junked and we sent a money order to refund the people who wanted the wheels and tires but never picked them up. The money order was sent back and they might have a car for us that costs less than some higher end dolls. As long as it's an automatic and wasn't smoked in we will take it.

A car means I can schedule physical therapy to help heal the whiplash which means it will be easier to reroot again!

belated thanks for the bday wishes.

I'm in Nebraska right now. One of my best friends became a priest, his ordination was this weekend. I've never been to a Catholic service before. This one was a super fancy high mass kind of deal, complete with chant, Latin, and the works. it was very interesting. I had no idea what was going on half the time THEN when it was almost over I saw the little program guide. It explained everything. Hehehe.... oh well. The choir in particular was great, I love male vocals.

I can add this one to my bucket list of cultural experiences.
