Sock Sweater

After having looked at the winter clothing from socks swap/contest/whatever it was (I also suddenly can't find the thread for it), decided to try one of my own. It is made with half sleeves as I couldn't fit the entire thing with full sleeves on a single sock.


The zebra in sunglasses print was part of the sock, and other then the seams connecting the sleeves to the body, it turned out really well. I think I just got a bit impatient with the hand sewing there. I think the skirt is an Azone... I didn't make it.

And yes, that's a chalkboard she's standing in front of.

Fantastic! The scale of the zebra image from the sock works perfectly to make this look like a shirt with an oversized screen print. You've incorporated it perfectly into the finished garment!

^.^ I tried to make sure the arm holes positioned the zebra so it'd look like a print on the sweater, also one of the reasons the sleeves had to be shorter, they would have had half a zebra on them if I'd used the other sock there. ^.^;;

I hadn't seen the prior sock thread or I probably would've just posted there.

And not sure what to do with the other zebra sock... though i guess I could make a second sweater with it.
