He's described as a "skinny b*st***" quite often; but he's a canny street fighter; and likely muscular enough to be intimidating as hell (since whenever he's described from an outside perspective he's a grumpy, angry, slightly terrifying man). I'm imagining a sinewy skinny guy - with most of the meat on him being muscle.

Oooh Vimes. what about Dragondoll? You can blush his extremities to darker color.

Ugh this is frustrating; the body type is about right, but I'd love to know how tall the company's idea of 70cm actually is there - since he needs to be noticeably shorter than Havelock and I know that company measurements are more often than not ...flexible. It's so easy to find 72cm+ guys but not so much 70cm and less guys ¬.¬

I believe Havelock comes in at close to 73cm but I don't know for certain, and the DragonDoll guy is apparently 72cm? That's the main reason I've been aiming for shorter really ...The dreaded Headcanon!! (which really is limiting... Maybe I should get one of these guys and just have at him with a dremel!)

Edit: Ok I just measured the 2 SD guys I've got in this tiny tiny flat (using a series of rulers masking taped to the wardrobe...); standing barefoot on the floor Havelock comes in at 69.5cm, and Nyta at 64.5cm... Which I can't quite believe! Havelock the disparity between my measurments and the company are perfectly understandable - different heads, but Nyta? Huh? How do these companies take their measurements??

So yeah shorter body for Vimes is pretty vital now! I'm thinking maybe a 65cm after all... But I really like the idea of everyone else being taller than SD sized Sabik... *Grumble grumble*

Edit 2: Ooh AkagiDoll are going to bring out a 66cm guy - I'll wait and see what that's like; I've heard good things about their 70cm body

Dragondoll guy is 72cm. They have 60cm boys as well.

You might wanna aim for the 60cms boys instead of 70cms. Like Souldoll

...It's going to be floating head city for a while now I think... Put in an order for 2 Dollshe heads... Curses! Why are these guys being discontinued?? I got the stereotypical Saint and a Van; the Saint will very eventually get the 1st Doll Chateau 70cm body but no idea about the Van!

Vimes is going to have to be a grumpy head in a box for a while! (Oooh there's an idea for display purposes - have the floating heads in boxes like Dorium Maldovar in Doctor Who!)

Still at least the Saint is embodying another character from the multiverse (I've been distracted from that of late with Discworld and other fandom dolls...): he's supposed to be a human druggy friend of Drax's - who much prefers to get high than to eat; since he can only really afford to pay for one and not the other! Though Jerome and the others from the Drag Club do look out for him, so he's not as unhealthy as he could be... And yeah he's from the "Main" Alternate Earth that most of the plot is set in. As for the Van head - well I'll find out who he is when he arrives...

Edit: Oh - they've got names already... Saint = Vasily Lupandin, Van = Ramin (I was very amused by a friend's assertion that Ramin is an evil sounding name ...I've got a feeling that the Van/Ramin is going to be a very quiet/gentle soul compared to the majority who find a home with me!)

Ok so -my mum and boyfriend are gonna give some money towards a doll for my birthday in November, gotta get ordering.

Here is the grand plan- Fairyland Minifee Celine, plus sleeping head both with default face up- M line Full bust body in natural skin tone. Mag on feet in flat and high heel- might add an extra wig to my collection.
Also I really regret not ordering the sleeping head for my chloe when I got her. Do you think if I ask nicely they will add a default makeup sleep chloe head? (paid for of course) - cos I am ordering another whole doll

miss_maishka, that sounds like a good plan! I don't see why they wouldn't if you ask nicely, order another full doll AND can prove you bought your Chloe from them without the extra faceplate.

Vetinari, I'm totally in the same boat. I bit the bullet and ordered that Bernard head that's been floating around in the back of my mind ever since I read that the current Dollshe boys would be discontinued ... with an extra faceplate because someone wanted to see a Klingon mod and that absolutely needs a faceplate, and while additional faceplates with a head order are a mere $30 I kind of couldn't resist ^^°
I'll definitely order at least a Miro 68cm body before the end of the month, I was planning to get a girl body too for my little alien project, but holy crow, this place will be overrun by unplanned dolls! I'm pretty sure they'll do another event at some point, but I kind of don't want to miss a 40% discount
I guess I'll just put the re-shell (is that even a word?) on layaway. Don't think I can handle that much incoming at once.
