I'm writing this on my laptop in my husband's hospital room. He had a hot appendix that he had surgery to remove... when they got in there it turned out to have ruptured, causing some complications. He'll be in for at least four days. He was in the OR for about two hours, for something that should have taken about 45 minutes. Then in postop recovery for another two hours. He actually just got up to his room about an hour ago. He has two drains in his abdomen, draining off the area to prevent further infection, plus, of course, the incisions themselves. Thankfully they were still able to do it via laparoscopy. He's getting all kinds of antibiotics. All not very comfortable, as I'm sure you can well imagine.
I'm staying with him tonight. Very cool that they have wifi.
Asking for your good thoughts to be sent his way. Thank you!
