Dress mock-up turned outfit

They're too sexy for their clothing - but they have to wear them anyway! Did you buy it? Did you make it? Who cares - let'm strut their stuff here!

Dress mock-up turned outfit

I need to make an outfit for someone, so I used Laurel as my model and made the pattern today. As long as I had to make a test fitting I decided to make it cute! This isn't lined or top-stitched, but I think she looks cute anyway. It's an "Evangeline goes to the Opera" by Scoundrelle's Keep recreated in miniature. The actual dress will have a lining, pleated ruffle, underskirt with pleated ruffle, and topstitching. It will be green silk, too. But Laurel doesn't get enough pretty things, so this is just for her!

That's so cute! You did an amazing job on a mock up. Good to see someone else who thinks, "Mock up? What's that? Oh you mean a dress with out all the fine detailing..." I hate leaving a half finished dress, even a mock up.
