I went with my husband to a 2nd hand shop. He was looking for bed rails for a twin bed. The metal ones were so flimsy that they finally bent. He found some solid oak ones in excellent shape and I found this - $5.00!!!!

What a nice find. It looks so beautiful after all the pretty touches you put inside! Love the little animals; and the dolly and her dress are so pretty!

The little doggie in the basket reminds me of Jock from Lady and the Tramp!

Thank you! I felt like i was in Vegas and broke the bank at one of the casinos!

The kitties were a gift. The large dog in the corner belonged to my MIL. The little Scottie dog I found at a flea market. The furniture is a mix of what I bought one year on vacation, the Great American Dollhouse Museum in Danville, Ky. That is an amazing place! Some of it is from local craft shops, antique shops, 2nd hand stores...and I did make the magazine on the table. The violin came from the St. Louis symphony! Lol! :lol:

The little doll, I bought through ebay. I am hoping to make it back to Danville, Ky at some point. I would like to have some more dollhouse dolls - and there are some really nice ones for sale there. Plus I have a dollhouse to gut and refinish. After that, i will need to furnish it. I also have a glass case that I need to decorate. That will be a greenhouse. I just need to find the wallpaper or at least, print out some of the shots I took in St. Louis for a background.
