Bought my roommate Dance Class Venus. Our Wal-mart was working on a toy mod today and they are putting in more space for monster high and they got a space for Catty Noir so i am going to check back tomorrow to see what they get in.

I bought this recently to help me sort of get out of an artistic rut. I have been hung up on GW2 fan art and wanted to move on but didn't have any ideas - enter this book. 642 things to draw, and all of them are utterly random things I would never think of drawing. Yay! (I recommend it!)

Music Festival Abbey Bominable.

I had the worst day today. It was just UGH, all round. Everyone around me was just impossible. It was one of those days where everyone is irritable and snappish. I started out okay but by the end of the day I was in a not so nice mood myself. I had to go to Target for cat litter and I saw her on the shelf for like $10 and I just grabbed her and went for the cashier. I really could not afford her just then. I spent money I really should have spent on something more important but I just did not flipping care. It was either get me some doll therapy or I was going to hurt somebody.

I have like 7 dolls left on my MH "want" list barring they introduce some really cool characters down the road or do something interesting with the CAM sets, including the one 2 doll cam pack that I don't have and want. (Blob and Ice Girl) With Abbey bought Venus, Jackson, Toralei, and Catty Noir are the only single dolls left on my list.

I particularly like this Abbey doll. When it comes to Abbey I tend to like the character in the videos but the doll not so much. This doll is a rare exception to my "Meh" reaction to Abbey the doll so I figured this one was the one to buy. I think I am going to order the MF Venus too the next time I order from Amazon. She's cute, only $12 and not scarce like some versions of her and I like Venus Fly trap plants and have been thinking hard on getting one of her. I'm also going to keep an eye out for Toralei and Jackson but I'm determined to get them sans any outrageous scalping pricing so that might be a while.

According to the MH site Jackson is supposed to be released again late this Fall. I'm hoping to snag him then. He's the only major classic Universal type monster kid that I don't have thus far and I want the son of Jekyll/Hyde. (I'm not as fond of Holt.) Toralei is supposedly out in the Fear Leading 3 pack and also as a Power Ghoul but I have yet to see her on the shelf. The Fear Leading pack is running like $75 on Amazon, and I'm not that keen on having all 3 kitties anyway so I'm leaning more towards a PG or a reissue when they do her. I like Toralei, but I'm not paying a scalper a hundred bucks for her, no way.

My next MH dolls will be Catty Noir and either Venus or that CAM Pack but it probably won't be till late in Sept as I will have to order them online and that means waiting until I have the rent and utilities paid for. I have BJD lay-a-way I am working on and right now that's taking priority and I can't spend any more elsewhere until I have that doll paid for. I was bad spending the $10 on Abbey but I just decided I needed the treat. It got me through a totally horrible day and that's worth having to juggle the budget a bit more this weekend.

The Leeke wig I'd planned for Dr Rush just came back in stock in the right colour - woo! He wont be bald for much longer... Shame Havelock has had no such luck! He's been waiting for something to come up for months now
