The patterns are Simplicity 8333 (from 1992) and McCall's Crafts 6317 (from 1993). Both, I've had since they came out, and a few pieces have gone missing over the years so I can't make every item in them even if I had the time. But I'm trying to get a good wardrobe assortment together.

And a lab coat, because I would be remiss in my Mad Scientist duties if I did not try to include a lab coat.

I broke out the metallic paints for parts of the Mad Scientists' Union logo on the back. :)

Wow, just wow on the lab coat.

And yay, another package on its way. I'll be at my storage unit tomorrow.

Mine should arrive any old day, it started at UPS but I don't know if it'll finish that way, and it's too big to fit in a mail box.

Still sewing, but popping up briefly for this:

Plain t-shirts are boring. Painting the lab coat was kinda fun, even if it slowed me down a bit. That said, I'm really tempted to paint on the non-patterned t-shirts. The sweatshirt and tanktop I think I'll keep simple and put the modernized version of the MIT logo on (That was pretty much my dream college, and still is, even though I'll probably never get to go). The white one is a bit trickier...

Some of my faves are either a bit long (I Haven't Lost My Mind... It's Backed Up On Disk (But The Server Is Down Again)), or possibly a bit over the head of the average 8 year old (Life Would Be Easier If I Had The Source Code).

Currently I'm leaning towards the 'Chick With Brains' shirt with the cute little chick in glasses on it... Unless someone has a better (and suitably geeky XD) suggestion?

Since I haven't met the little girl in question, I'd say that plain T-shirts, though boring, may be best. Otherwise, "SCIENCE!" might be good.

I guess I did get overenthusiastic. They're already painted and, in all but one case, roughly halfway sewn. I'm not sure there'd be time to recut...
