Obitsu Or . . . . ?

(x-posted) Okay, I have 3 of my OT dolls up for sale and 2 of them are on hold right now. Soooo, I'm looking toward purchasing another doll. This needs to be "the" doll because extra money for dolls is not in the future for the next couple of years. I've been eying a particular OT tiny, but I'm also considering getting an SD instead. I've been looking over the inventory at JS and I see a couple I'm interested in (such as DZ Celine), as well as possibly getting one or two MSDs instead. I'm also wondering about Obitsu.

I'd like to hear recommendations about the larger Obitsu dolls from 50cm on up, both male and female. I recall recent discussion about the various sized bodies and how one in particular isn't as good as the others (but I don't remember which). I think the one thing that really makes me hesitant is that the face sculpt choices are limited.

The best thing about Obitsu is that they are less expensive and pose wonderfully! but unfortunately they stain SO easily.

I've had both a 60cm ball joint type obitsu and a 50cm. I liked both, but the 50cm is really great.

As for face sculpts I think you can get almost anything, you'd just have to blush appropriately. Look of Den of Angels to see what kinds of heads can fit and what not. Good luck!

50cm! my SO has (had) both!. the 60cm had hip breakage issues and he finally gave up and put his gretle head on an AOD body...resin match was perfect BTW. his 50cm w/ haruka elf head is wonderfull! no issues at all. I love to sew for her too, she is a dream! Kikichan has a tutorial over on JS for how to put a resin head on an obistu body. so any head that would look ok size wise could work. I think MSD head would look best but some of the smaller looking SDs could work too~!
