handmade pet rats

So I don't have space/time for pets, which makes me very sad. I've always wanted a pair of rats, seeing how loving and affectionate they can be just melts my heart. But instead of being sad, I made some low-responsability buddies to fill in for the time being.

I designed the pattern myself, with lots of trial and error to get some proportions I like. They're made out of minky with armature in the hind feet and tail so they can stand up with no problem. They're eyes are safety plastic eyes, and they've all got either pink or black embroidered noses. They're generally 8-10" tall, and the markings are unique to each, I try and take inspiration from photos online of different colors of fancy rats.

One of my favorite things is to dress them; outfitting them in little jackets and suits and crocheting scarves. : )

There are other sites that do the same sort of thing - Indiegogo sprintgs to mind; but Kickstarter is, I think anyway, more well known. And there's at least one person here who's run a couple of successful Kickstarter campaigns - and whose name I've completely forgotten
