Hello! I'm new to the hobby

Postby Glecs » Fri Nov 01, 2013 11:29 am

Hi lovely owners and people,
I am Glecs living in UK for studies. I just received my boy, Azera today and is very excited to join this community!

At the moment, he has no outfit yet because DOD wanted to do something with his outfit before sending it to me, so well, my Azera is a bit cold now, but he has his boots on :P I am soooo happy when he arrived this afternoon.

I hope to meet loads of owners and possible attend some meetups in UK and get to know more about BJDs and dolls in general.

Hi everyone, thank you for the warm welcome! ^^

Hey ShortNCuddly :D You're in UK? That's awesome! I really want to meet up with people from everywhere with their lovelies. Maybe we could meet sometime :)

Also, I just went to the local charity shops to find some miniature items for my boy this morning. I got him two little cups and a saucer, a silver cross accessory and a picture frame, haha. Some of the doll items they have are too small for my 70cm doll.

Yep - I'm in south Londonish. Although I'm unlikely to be able to make any kind of meet up until after the New Year...

Oh, that's great! I'm in Hatfield, Hertfordshire so taking a train to London is not very far.
Don't worry about the meetup, I am still getting to know owners around here and hopefully we'll have one early next year and also maybe ComicCon in Excel.
In the meantime, I'm going to look at the photos in the gallery :)

Hatfield? I used to know the area quite well! (I lived in Welwyn Garden for a while, and the yeti studied at UH)
