2 new girls for my doll family

Postby kenaiqueen » Sat Nov 02, 2013 11:00 pm

First is another Patsy. I scored a huge coupon from ebay for some (unsuccessful) selling and was able to get this blonde Patsy for about $37 with shipping. She's joined my Wilder family so I named her Laura.

I guess it's a good thing I wasn't able to sell those Halloween Patsy dresses so my girls had something to wear.

Secondly, I added a 16" Tonner girl from his Re-Imagination line. She's called 'Haunting' but I've named her Angelique after a character from the old Dark Shadows soap opera.
Here's her original outfit:

And here in a dress that has been passed around a bit.

I think she has a very pretty face and I just love her hair.

I have been admiring Patsy for a little while now and saw some at a local doll collector show yesterday - she's so cute (but pricey). And I'm glad you found something respectable for Angelique to wear other than rags! hehe

I was hoping that Tonner would give Patsy some bendy arms but when it didn't look like it was going to happen I gave in during a sale and got my first one. I like the first wave faces better, but when I got the coupon, I couldn't resist and the blonde. She looks like a young Ellowyne to me.

Awww! How cute!

Patsy is so cute in person and she looks just like a little Ellowyne. Yours are both adorable. I have one I need to post too.

Angelique is so gorgeous! I love her and both of those outfits.

Angelique is gorgeous - she looks a lot better in her new outfit, too!

And Laura is very cute. You're right, she does look like a young Ellowyne. Each time I've seen one I've always thought she reminded of a younger version of an existing doll, but I couldn't pin point who.

Angelique is just lovely, and that dress looks great on her.

Thanks everyone! Angelique's dress is a bit loose on her, mostly because Ms. Beetlejuice/Cora was wearing it and stretched it out with her big hooters. :D I have some black jersey knit with little silver stars I'm thinking of cutting into for her.

I'd love to see other people's Patsy dolls. I'm working on a "Toddlers & Tiaras" type cupcake dress for my new girl at the moment.
