some people do amazing custom dolls of sebast, and other characters, from that series. have you thought about building your own?
example: one i found while googling for the fairyland http://zetahadrian.deviantart.com/art/S ... -200788399 (link in that comment section about what body they used/ etc)

Talked to Fairyland's English customer support, and they are sold out and indeed do have a licensing issue which prevents them from making more.

As for customizing one....let me see if I can explain myself adequately here. The girl you linked me to, she used a basic "Osiris" doll from the "Immortality of Soul" company. There was some controversy over this doll because...well...they copied Sebastian down to almost the tiniest detail:

There was a bit of controversy when "Ringdolls" did an obvious Grell Sutcliffe copy as well.

Grell:

The Osiris doll itself doesn't appeal to me. It has the typical BJD face that lends itself to quasi-realism. The reason I fell in love with Fairyland's doll was the same reason many BJD owners complained about it: It has a rather anime look about it. I'm quite happy with my 1/6 scale fully sanctioned Sebastian actually, but Fairyland's doll held a unique appeal for me. :D I liked it enough to want to buy out of my "comfort zone" (i.e. 1/6 or smaller).

So it was sort of a "Fairyland or Bust" type deal for me. I have no interest in customizing a 1/3 size doll, especially when it's not the doll I really wanted to begin with...

Am I making sense? I'm sick as a dog and having a hard time seeing the screen and compiling my thoughts into something resembling a coherent sentence.

Not to be scary - but if it was limited and the original price was 92,000 yen - we are talking that was over $900 - possibly $1000. If you do find him, he ain't gonna be cheap :(

no worries, just figured i'd toss it out there since there are some sculpts that could make a passable, or excellent, sebastian. like resinsoul's Gang, or the mystic kids lawrence.

And I thank you very much for your advice Siead. <3 You're a sweetheart to try and point me anywhere. It's my own weird hangups about this particular character (his face is just...so angular and anime like that any BJD remake I see my mind usually screams "IMPERSONATOR" complete with red klaxon blaring) and this particular doll. I think Fairyland got Sebastian right for a BJD, which was why he intrigued me so. :D
