Do you have close ups of his face? ^_^ If you don't mind me saying, it reminds me a lot of a particular artist on deviantart (that's not a dig, if you liked the style and happened to borrow, who am I or anyone else to judge? We're all essentially copying copyrighted material when we make and customize dolls of existing, licensed characters). I noticed the Disney High I stumbled on seems to be mostly two to three people and a smattering of followers all with the same agenda. Scar and Shere Khan are....I don't know what to call it without being really vulgar because their relationship is like some elegant train wreck in the fic I've read XDDD. I kind of have my own Disney headcanon anyway so I pull one of those "I reject your reality and substitute it with my own" type deals with some of the Disney High stuff I've read because it gets a little weird, and it's also got me thinking Sebastian and Zazu just need to hook up. See? The internet ruins your brain.

Also, a "Volks EBS" would be....? I'm stupid-newb remember. And you said you used..Meltonia dye? I've been hearing mixed things about Ritts dye.

A final note, every time I see someone "sexing up" a Disney character my brain always goes back to a certain artist who made over a bunch of male and female villains. I'll embed the first pic and link the second since the second picture is a "comparison chart" (minus Scar for some reason).

The artist's reimagining of Scar:

Here is the comparison chart with mostly everything she's done up to date I believe. That Ursula looks like Christina Aguilera. There's a joke in there somewhere. XD

Here ya' go! It's not a close up, but it is closer so...

Link to the artist? I wasn't trying to copy any one person in particular, but some of the designs out there definitely influenced his design. And yeah, I know about what they do with him and Shere Khan (that art/fic actually made me ship it *hides*. Though I tend to do it as less of a train wreck and more of a surprisingly healthy relationship between two evil character. Scar/Zira, on the other hand...). Like I said, I'm pretty familiar with all the stuff even if I don't participate in any RPs.

I've seen that series before! That Scar isn't my favorite, but it's still nice. I kinda wish they kept Ursula plus sized though :x

Volks EB means Excellent Base line and the letters are for different models that came in white, normal/fleshtone, and tan skin colors. C is a young teen boy N is a taller skinny teen, the rest are female with different sized busts. Check the Volks USA site they might have some left.

Looking at that drawing a normal/fleshtone Obitsu Slim with an M2 rooted head could make that character.

<---Haha, I wouldn't be judging you if you did. There's only so many ways to tradtionally humanize Scar or any Disney animal for that instance. I still have one particular artist's versions of Timon and Puumba stuck in my head from like six years ago.

As for the artist, this is the gal in particular I thought of, but there's a few artists floating around that draw almost the same exact version of him.

http://euphoric-geek.deviantart.com/art ... -341028946

<---Oh, I totally ship it, but in my headcanon it's completely different, mostly because Shere Khan reads a little wrong to me in the fics I read. And...healthy....? They cheat on each other (at least in the fics I read), Scar gets...err....excited with foreplay basically being "I'll kill your brother and his family for you." <_< Scar is a messed up character, but the reason both he and Shere Khan work is because they have that veneer of culture and civility they cling to. I don't know, the author I read just wasn't really my speed, but this stupid(ly awesome) pic alone made me ship them like the Navy:

http://silk-ward.deviantart.com/art/cool-cats-188432368

Also, I re-read your post, do you mean "do it" as in "I look at these characters differently" or was that more of a "I view it" as in you view the existing material (I believe the main fanficcer I've seen for these two is CharlotteACavattica(sp? I'm too sick to look it up ORZ) not like a train wreck but like they're having a healthy relationship?

In other news: Damn I like your Scar doll mod. I'm tempted to attempt one, but then Shere Khan would have to show up and I don't have teh monies and rerooting orange and white/silver hair would just outright kill me right now.

I've seen that series before! That Scar isn't my favorite, but it's still nice. I kinda wish they kept Ursula plus sized though :x
<---Eh, they always do that. Pretty=twig-thin. *Sarcasm* They could have copied chubby Christina Aguilera. XDDD Although technically I could debate the same thing with some of the other characters, like taking the aging priest from The Hunchback of Notre Dame and turning him into a sad eyed bishounen. Eh, nothing is perfect? :/

If nothing else...yay, another Shere Khan/Scar shipper!!! X3

Oh, I mean "healthy" in the sense that they aren't abusive or anything to each other. They're still messed up, but they don't really make each other any worse than they already are. Either way, they definitely aren't monogamous. I ship Scar/Zira as well, and just in general all Scars I write have a tendency to became gigantic pansexual whores. Like Taka (the one the doll is supposed to be) is especially bad since it's D&D and there are so many species one can stick it in (he's a few steps away from mythology!Loki, no lie).

I tend to write Scar more sympathetically as well. Like, he's still and asshole and is definitely no crying woobie (I actually think he's get some impressive emotional resolve), but he's got reasons for it. Let's just say in my headcanon daddy didn't exactly like him.

And that pic is great. That might not be my headcanon Scar, but that is my headcanon Shere Khan. Too bad he'd be hard as hell to find a headsculpt that works. I've considered doing Zira though, I just don't have the money (I'd probably do her out of a more action-y female body since I imagine her being butch as fuck).

But yeah no human AU Disney shit, especially if it involves Scar, is literally one of my favorite things erghjrtiughrtigu

Speaking of ships involving humanized versions of Disney animals, I think I kind of made Frollo/human!Scar a thing *hides*

I know quite a few heads and I have examples of most of the Obitsu ones. If I see a picture I can help point you in a direction.

Here you go, MeltedCaramel-san. These are the various skintones of the 3 main Japanese 1/6 doll companies: (Parabox uses the same colors as Obitsu, but only White and Flesh)

First photo is with flash on the camera, while the 2nd photo is natural light:

SetsunaKou: You come through as always!! XDDD Thank you so much dear! <3 The "XDR" line...what is this? That one face looks very interesting for a project I have in mind. (Surprisingly not the tan one! XD) You're such a fountain of knowledge. <333 *Huggle* Thank you so much for being so helpful!!! <3

Androidraptor: Dungeons and Dragons has gone online right? I can never take those things seriously. My cousin let me try out his, and I stress this because he did, hard earned and real money spent on it avatar, left the room, and within five minutes I had his character entirely disrobed, running through a town with a bunch of angry RPers flying after me after I'd dance naked through their battles and conversations and generally act like a fool. I don't know what it is about RPGs that bring out the twelve year old in me. Needless to say my cousin flipped shit because that avatar was his baby and he had to do some total damage control of the "It was totally my five year old sister" type lie shit. XDD

Also...one step away from mythological!Loki? As long as Taka isn't popping out world-eating serpents with a giantess I think we're good. XDD

I guess our definitions of healthy vary. XDDD I'm one of those weird "neat ducklings two by two in a row" pairing people, meaning if I like Shere Khan/Scar, I don't like Shere Khan/Bagheera (the second most common one I've seen). I picture them more, in the AU!human sense, as being totally wary of each other because they see the danger behind the mask, but somehow the end up in bed together and accidentally become totally entangled in each other's lives.

That (first) artist I linked you to did some Scar/Zira pics too, although she's quick to stress "not because I like it or anything" so...your mileage may vary.

I tend to write Scar more sympathetically as well. Like, he's still and asshole and is definitely no crying woobie (I actually think he's get some impressive emotional resolve), but he's got reasons for it. Let's just say in my headcanon daddy didn't exactly like him.
<---I totally agree with this, and yeah, sounds like you've been digging around in my headcanon as well. I would venture to say people say it's a cliche, but honestly there is a ton of real sibling rivalry amongst human brothers and a lot of unintentional (or intentional) favouritism of one child that can border on outright abuse of the other sibling, so I'd say it's entirely plausible. Mufasa was the veritable golden child. I can't imagine Scar would have been all that catered to or liked, or at worst mental and physical abuse is a definite possibility.

<---That "cool cats" picture? I know it would be impossible to do in the style of the picture, but besides the exaggerated features I think any masculine face sculpt would fit him rather well. :D Also, I totally picture Zira being that rangy, too-athletic woman that likes to go rock climbing on Sundays while you sit in your underwear and eat Cheetos. XDD. So yeah, basically really butch, but I kind of like the way the first artist I linked made her feminine but still obviously up to no good.

But yeah no human AU Disney shit, especially if it involves Scar, is literally one of my favorite things erghjrtiughrtigu
<----Is it really bad that this is the best conversation I've had in days? I'm enjoying this way too much. I was always too scared to utter my human AU Disney shit out loud, but this is totally awesome. Plus now I figured a stopgap for of one of my favourite but totally physically impossible (in the original canon) OTPs. XDDD I don't even want to say it on the board. If you want to know, you can PM me, but I doubt your curiousity is that piqued. XD

Also, those damn fics that made me ship Gil/Nemo. Damnit.

Speaking of ships involving humanized versions of Disney animals, I think I kind of made Frollo/human!Scar a thing *hides*
<---I oughtta smack you. XDD Okay, seriously, either you and the first artist are friends, she follows the RP you're in, or there is some weird fucking juju going on:

I'm scared now. *Hides under bed*

The character I gave my tan Volks guy is an OC who works as a villain at a theme park. The baddie is based on Mozenrath although a white skin would do better for him.

And my vote is for WFJuju.
