got his head and body blushed up. i did end up having to repaint the whole head, it was just too big a variance.
i also went with trying to make his head look like his hair was starting to stubble back in.
also this sealer is way glossier than i thought. i may have to re-seal it in a better matte (or just be more careful with lighting)

Looks almost like a fine sheen of sweat in the first two images. But does look rather shiny in the third. Haven't seen the movie(s?) in a long time so I don't know if that's a positive or negative, but he's looking good to me.

thanks it's kind of a negative, but he was catching the light off my laptop. i think in natural lighting it will be fine. haven't had a chance to test it. by the time i get off work it's dark out lol.

arrrgh. so i didn't realise, but the last painti sealed over... ran. he's got a line along his jawline.
i'm so annoyed with this painting, i may just strip and re-do the lot on my next day off. urrrrghlleeeghkhsdfsn.

i know, bumping old thread. but, i decided to go back and mod his head to fit the character more by widening out the jawline and nose, and rounding off the earlobes.
also i now have matte sealer so yay!

body blush redo and first faceup:


finished faceup with better brows and love how he looks smirky.


and thenn the blacksmith sent me this today. he was testing to see if he could fold the steel enough for the ulaks. he thinks he can make them. so yay!


so yeah... next will be remaking his pantaloons, and goggles.

sidenote of innapropriateness. i've said before, i think, how beefy mirodoll boys are. well, they are everywhere (if ya know what i mean). it's making having to sew his rather form-fitting pants a bit difficult lmfao. think i'll have to make them looser in the groin.
