Does anyone on DS actually collect Barbies?

Barbie, Jenny, Fashion Royalty, Obitsu and 1/6 resins - basically anything 10-12inch/21-27cm or in the neighborhood.

LOL yes, I've been collecting since I was 5 years old. Most of the tinys are Kelly/LFOK. The 3 at top right are Lovely Patsy and the 5 at bottom right are Heart Family. The grey doll is a Midnight Magic Day and Night Pippa with a haircut and repaint.

I haven't heard of Midnight Magic Day or Night Pippa, but then, there are a lot of dolls mentioned on DS that I'm not familiar with so that's not so unusual :D Anyway, you do have lovely dolls my dear :)

Maybe think of her as a Monster High clone, there are several of those going around.

I've seen pastel colored Barbies, we have a purple fairy with wings that flap if you shake her.

Try a search for Fairytopia Sparkle. She hasn't been part of my doll family for years but she's still around because we had a fairy display on the fireplace at the previous house. There just hasn't been a place here to put them.

The body isn't jointed so that was a big deal breaker in the purge I had awhile back. I battle with hoarding temptations so I have to keep things to a manageable level.

I have the purple Fairytopia Babs fairy at work and the blue one in the box. Because I have an unhealthy obsession with the color blue. XD
Here's the purple one sporting a spiffy dancing dress:

I found them and they are gorgeous. I particularly like the purple one :)

@ Mary Kathryn - Thank you for sharing. You are blessed to have two of them ;)

It is very rare that a single female figure has all of the features that I want, so I will buy one for her head and another for her body. (If either includes great accessories, that's gravy...!)

I do the same thing with some off-brand Joes. My CC Joes are great as they are, but I might trade bodies between them.
