ShortNCuddlyAm Unwired sports bras are a good option. I've been fitted for underwire bras before and they have not-so-affectionately known as "boob cages". Hhhhyeah, your end of the spectrum is when I'd consider some sort of surgical solution. <_<

Also, yay, another knife collector!!!! What do yoo collect? My balisong just came the other day and it's gorgeous, I'm surprised at well made it is!! (It was a cheaper end knife.)

MeltedCaramel I've a small collection of UK legal without reason pocket knives (sub 3" blade, folder, non locking), and a slightly larger collection of fixed blades, with a couple of locking folders (You can legally carry fixed blades, locking folders and folders with blades of any length if you have good reason. Not wanting a knife to accidentally close on your finger while using it isn't a good reason. )

The fixed blades are mostly small hunter style, but, bar one - well, two if you count the kit knife, all made by individual knife makers from various places mostly UK, South Africa, US and Finland (which was a kit knife I put together).

The folders range from the bog standard Swiss Army Knife (including the one I found when I was about 7, some 35 odd years ago!), to a friction folder especially designed for eating biltong. A couple of them are friction folders, which I really like but have one downside - the friction bar thing pokes holes in your clothes when in a pocket  The biltong knife and one other are customs, the rest were all cheap (the Swiss Army one I got specifically for the garden was probably the most expensive.

So yeah, way more than I need, but they all do get used.

I'd love a balisong - sadly they're illegal over here.

What other ones do you collect?

The UK has some strange knife laws. I'd say not wanting to slice a tendon open is a pretty good reason for a locking blade to me! Then again, in the US you have to justify a pocket knife as a "tool" rather than a weapon, which, for my case, is mostly true. Not that if some mugger was coming my way I wouldn't hesitate to pull out the thing that I open my DVD cases with and stab em' with it, but for the most part I use them as functioning tools.

I have a small battalion of Swiss Army Knives, everything from those tiny ones women carry in their purses to a heavy duty, 25+ function monster of a knife (I forget the maker  ). I have a standard locking 7'' pocket knife that I use for everyday things, a spring assisted stiletto with a blue dragon design, and what I'm currently looking forward to getting in the mail: My karambit. It's a gorgeously simple design, I finally managed to find one that wasn't overly complicated, done in titanium rainbow sheen, or military camouflage.

I also have a few prop and replica blades, including a foot long dragon knife that comes dull but can be sharpened for use.

It's a shame balisongs are illegal in the UK!!! They're really a complex, beautiful knife hidden in a simple but brilliant design. Even my mother, who hates knives, expressed interest in getting on for her purse.

Balisong knives are illegal to carry in many parts of the US, but perfectly legal to own. My old roommate collected swords and knives, and most of mine are gifts from him, with the exception of my folding knife. Technically, that's illegal too in many places, as any knife that can be opened purely by centrifugal force is of dubious legality, and I modified mine to do just that. I have a straight-bladed katana with a wooden sheath that has a red smoke pattern on it, a replica of Excalibur that I'm working on putting an edge to, and a decorative sword that I'm rather fond of that I customized with paint.

It looks like it's perpetually wet because I coated it in a thin layer of glass paint that I textured by applying with my fingers. I used glass paint over acrylic for the gem-like details, and so those also have a translucent quality, which the cell phone pictures do NO justice. The gold is liquid leaf, and has much more lustre than the pictures show, too... Ah c'est la vie.

I love the custom paint job you gave your Caliburn! Just wanted to ask, is your Excalibur replica also the version belonging to Arturia Pendragon from Fate/ Stay Night? We've been on a big F/SN kick lately and your jeweled sword looks just like the sword in the stone Caliburn.

Is that what that puppy is called? I never looked. My friend bought it, thinking it was something else, and when he realized it amounted to little more than a toy, he gave it to me. The Excalibur replica is the one from the 1981 movie, but I think it's a knockoff or something. A quick google image search shows my sword but it's running $100+, and that just doesn't sound right. Of my very meager collection, it's also the only one that has tasted blood. My ex boyfriend and the friend that gave it to me were sparring in the yard and my ex accidentally stabbed our friend in the arm. Blade went three and a half inches into his forearm, and required stitches (funny story; when we got to the hospital, the cops were called because it was a stab wound, and the officer asked if it was a result of domestic violence... our friend is very flamboyantly gay... and he says "Officer, even if it was, I wouldn't press charges. He's too pretty to go to jail." The cop gave up and left)

I also have this custom that I did:
