Should I obotsu this Liv Doll

Postby oxalis » Sun Jan 12, 2014 9:01 am

I was wondering what others thought on using a liv doll head on an obitsu body.
My liv doll has chew marks on her and a missing part because the cat played with it.
I don't want to get rid of her, so I thought that might work because i haven't seen anywhere online where they sell just the body of a liv doll. What else could i do?

If it were my doll, I would probably buy an old liv doll at a thrift shop and just swap the bodies, but if that's not an option and you really love your doll an obitsu body may be a good option. Is she one of the light-skinned girls? As far as I know, obitsu is only producing light skin tones just now.

I think this would get more attention in the 1/6 scale subforum. Is there a mod floating around that would move this?

If you have an option for an obitsu body, always take obitsu. They're stellar at posing and super affordable.

This ebay shop sometimes carries cheap Liv bodies: you can ask Kelly, the owner, with a Pm, she's very kind. http://stores.ebay.it/Dollydreamshop?_rdc=1
From times to times Liv bodies also pop up in this forum marketplace.
An Obitsu body could surely work, (they work with almost anything!) just pay some attention to the skin tone: like yarwel said, the most common Obitsu skin tone (white and natural) are really, really pale and it's not sure they will match with your Liv girl.

I've purchased a lot of Liv dolls at the Goodwill and Value Village, normal price is $1 or $2 per doll.
