Integrity Toys Dolls?

Postby Kirahfaye » Sun Feb 09, 2014 6:00 pm

I'm looking for a 12 inch doll that is a step above the typical Barbie with more "posability" and joint stamina. Since J-Doll look like they are going to be too fragile for the amount of play I plan on, I've been looking at the Integrity Toys doll line. Does anyone here have any of these girls? I'd appreciate input before I plop down the money these gals go for.

I have mostly FR boys dolls and one girl doll. It depends on how much posing you want from them. The female action figure
might be more of what your looking for. Try Traid, CY, etc. or any of the 1/6 female figures out there. These dolls are way more poseable and more durable.

I have a Jason Wu body I haven't used much. I had Julie Newmar as Catwoman's head on it because it seemed the only use I could figure for it. Her knees only do 90 degrees at the and she can't cross her legs but otherwise she did okay for motion. As for clothes she's about one size bigger than Barbie and only wears their stretchiest clothes, can't share shoes at all.

As for toughness I don't know, her plastic feels like Volks EB legs if you know what I mean.

Well, for posability, I don't expect the dolls to do back bends like Obitsus or anything so elaborate. ;) I just want them to hold a pose well and not risk breaking fragile wrists or elbows doing so. And I want them to be able to wear most fashion doll size clothing. I like the facial sculpts of the Integrity girls - they seem more sophisticated than Barbie.

The lack of clothing would be the biggest turn off. As I said they're about one size bigger than Barbie and can't share most of her clothes, shoes are impossible.

Otherwise you might like them.

Oooooh..... interesting, because I asked one of the sellers and she said they could wear a lot of Barbie clothing.

Sigh.....
