Does anyone on DS actually collect Barbies?

Barbie, Jenny, Fashion Royalty, Obitsu and 1/6 resins - basically anything 10-12inch/21-27cm or in the neighborhood.

That sounds like a good idea. Does the plastic not 'sweat' a lot when it's hot though? Just wondering, because it gets really hot here.

They are in my detached garage, so there is no plumbing and a lot of ventilation, like a storage shed.

Derp, I just realized I missed the comment about Xavier's bride. It's the same Dollzone Tintan, named Jibriel, in all the pics and my avatar. I only have one resin woman doll, she just changes her wigs a lot.

Derp is another way of saying "duh" or "oops". It mutated from South Park.

When X decided to get married it took awhile to figure out what sculpt would work well with him. Her pink eyes are the ones she came with.

OH! That is a genius idea! Complete genius! I love it. I'm going to look at tackle boxes today. :)

I use Plano Sto-Away 3730 for the girls and Plano Sto-Away 3731 for the boys.

I collect Mermaid Barbies :)

Some of my absolute favorite and most prized dolls are Enchanted Mermaid Barbie(2001) and The Mermaid Barbie(2012).

I also love the Mermaid Fantasy Barbie line from 2002 as well as the early 90s mermaids.

It wasn't until 2005 Mermaidia dolls and onward that I stopped getting the mermaid barbies. They were so ugly and gaudy with a bunch of rhinestones and jewels on their tails, they didn't even look like fishtales anymore not to mention they were so short and stiff. I hated the mid to late 2000s barbies. It wasn't until 2012 when they made Color Magic Mermaid that they were beautiful again. I have also bought the Pearl Princess line of dolls as well and they're beautiful(though I wish they were articulated like Color Magic Mermaids).

I also always really loved vintage ponytail barbie. I love her tout and haughty face, full of personality and really classic.

Sounds great Aguamight. Have you posted any pics of your dolls? Would love to see some. :)

Thank you Melody :)
Actually, I have not. I've been so busy lately but things have finally slowed down so I can enjoy and photograph my dolls now. Hopefully I'll get to posting pictures of my mermaids soon!
