working on a monster high custom. might not keep the beads in her hair.
gonna make her some 1910's style stuff.





she's inspired by Cthulhu. little tentacles in her hair. still gotta figure out a tail.

Adorable!! I LOVE the freckles and the wings and the HAIR OH MY GOD that style Siead. As for her tail....hmnnn...for cutesy you could do an thin(ish) octopus like tentacle that curls into a little heart shape at the end? Just an idea! I adore what you've done so far Siead!! Keep us updated! <3

for now i'm just skipping the tail, with the excuse of it's under her skirts.... whenever i get around to sewing them lol. might have to hit the thrift store sometime and see what's around.

bwahaha, man i haven't played that in soooo long. i miss being a mob boss, that was sweet.

i did end up taking the beads out after looking at fashions from the era. i may take some really small beads and make her a hairpin. just having them glued into her wig felt too permanent.

I'm a little surprised that MH doesn't have an official Cthulhu yet. But making your own has a special magic to it. I can't wait to see what outfit you come up with for her.

I love your faceup - the freckles are so cute! The shading on the wings is top notch.

I utterly adore her hair. I love wool and roving, and have made a wig for a doll and myself out of it. Great job on the hair, and a lovely choice of color.

i could totally see them doing a Deep One some day, since they kinda have an established look to them. but they probably figure their current roster of water dwellers is enough.

Siead Ahh, what was the decision for nixing the tail from a stylistic level? (Err, I mean, customizers POV? ) As for the jeweled hairpin idea, I really think that would work nicer than the gems in her hair. I liked that look but I couldn't think of a better idea. I could see one of those really pretty antique carved bone looking hairpins with some small flat-back Swarovski type crystals and a pretty design. Perhaps an octopus with jewels for eyes? I don't know, I'm not very familiar with Cthulu, so I'm probably Doing It Wrong.

I've been meaning to ask you for the longest time, what is the doll in both your DS icon, and your twitter icon? (Size/sculpts/custom?) Also, do you have pictures of them, or a picture...receptacle (that's basically what my photobucket amounts to nowadays) where you post pictures of your hoard?
