Anyone know how to fix this?

This is a Volks WTG boyfriend body, and I picked him up today and his pelvis just came apart. I don't know how, but I can't get him back together now. Should I try to glue him? It doesn't look like any parts have snapped off, cracked, or are otherwise broken, but he won't snap back together. :/

Ah! The classic neo-goh crotch self destruct! My very first doll (also a neo-goh) did that to me in the middle of a photoshoot many years ago. I ended up repairing the split with epoxy and zap-a-gap glue, and I've been wary of my other volks spontaneously exploding ever since.

Mine had some obvious breaks in the plastic, but yours doesn't look like all the pegs have broken. The spring in the belly makes it difficult to snap the crotch piece back together, but it you align the pegs of the crotch piece with the holes the go into on the butt piece (*snerk*) and gently but firmly pull up on the belly piece, you should be able to just snap it all back together. But without a STRONG glue it's very likely to explode again.

Oh, so it's a thing? XD That's a relief, in a way. Thanks very much, that really is helpful! I've got his hips taped until I can get some decent glue (the glue I did have, well, it turns out I accidentally glued the cap onto the tube, so it's pretty useless right now)
I kept feeling like I needed to apologize for pressing on his "parts" so hard...it looked painful. XP
