Welcome Home Chibi-Usa! (BBB Isabella Box Opening)

So I finally got my Chibi-Usa, she has been in the back of my mind for awhile, but I never really looked at dolls to shell her. This is the first doll I've bought since Lloyd almost three years ago! (just realized how long it's been). I got her from Junkyspot, and got her 3 days after I ordered (gotta love Emory!). I choose a BBB Isabella, the round face is adorable. Just some quick pics, she doesn't have her proper wig, eyes, or face-up, so it might be awhile before she gets together. But she's home! Gonna dig out my Sailor Moon Dolls, and see if her fuku fits her.

The goodies


Peanuts (with a surprise!) The circled thing is an adorable Hello Kitty Cellphone charm, that I missed until I put the camera way, and started to pick up.


Half out of the bubble wrap (with slightly wonky eyes), but she has slightly blushed cheeks! Is that new for BBB?


Kind of sassy (but modest!) She kind of kept snapping into this position with her arms)


Enjoying the fact that she has tons of clothes (I didn't test everything, but I'd say about half of my Barbie clothes I have should fit!)


Very quick, and not very good family shot. Wearing a wig that I got that was too small for Lloyd, not her at all, but at least she isn't bald. Forgive the pin on Mamoru's shirt, he needs snaps on it.

Aelia: I really like the BBB (and RS) dolls, most my collection are from there).

Zirconmermaid: I thought she looked a little like Chibi-Usa with the kind of chubby cheeks. I am working on her wig right now, well version one anyway, and made some quick eyes. I'll post pictures when I'm done.

I have a Bobobie Isabella too! They are so sweet, and the natural-looking default faceups are very appropriate for the age she's supposed to be. I had the same joy of realizing all my old Barbie doll clothes fit, though some pants don't make it past the thighs xD Hot glue sueding really helps with posability! As for making her into Chibi-Usa, that is a lovely idea! I can't wait to see the finished product!

Looking at this takes me back to when I got my Kate last year. Ahh, good times....
