First off I must thank those who tried to help with body options. Unfortunately they didn't pan out...

Weird how this came about... I actuallu bought a play mates star trek doll to hybridise with ken but ken looked REALLY iffy on a straight cut neck... Unfortunately I hacked off the bottom of his neck so no way in hell will he use his old body. And so... I looked at the shape his his head and thought it looked more to be a rotable head than a turn head...

So I carved it out and picked up my only Neo Goh guy and thought "LAWL-TASTIC HYBRID TIEMS" but... oh carp. It looked REALLY good. Really, really good. And the fact Neo Gohs can wear Vintage Ken clothing perfectly... I guess Ken got his body...

Course I then stuffed his head with a plastic bag, wrapped massive amounts of tape on the neck knob and voila, a solution to the hybrid... It's not a very tight joint, but it doesn't fall off and he can pose so wewt.

It's perfect for what I wanted. Scrawny as heck (in comparison to my tank other men), lean and posable enough.

Anywho, Cadel is on Ken's original body with the help of a q-tip.

I'm not used to Ken having man hands... I miss his daintiness.

No more stick arms....Also, COMBAT WAIER IS A GO.

Not a perfect fit but meh.

I really love seeing your vintage dolls with more awesome bodies.

The pigtails look great.

When does your photostory start? I'm intrigued.

Hippolyta, thanks! I LOOOOOOOOVE vintage faces as they hold a certain charm, but their bodies are so... irritating. And since articulation has a certain following I thought why not combine my two favourite things? >D

Eseme, thanks! Articulation + vintage = fun!

Well, I'm actually shooting the prologue today but the actual plot doesn't start until after November 15... cuz it's my last exam lol.

Nashira, thanks. He just looks so cute and awkward I love it :D

Iwa Hoshi, Emma is a default faced girl with a reroot. To me she loooks like a 8587 Barbie Twist N’ Turn (1973-1976), she came in 2 variations. One with the Steffie headmold and one with the Stacey headmold. It is an European/German version, not so high coloured like the American one:
Here you can see her boxed:

And a semi better photo:

But I'm not a fantastic Vintage expert.

Ken looks awesome on that body. I remember a photo spread from a few years back in Haute Doll where they'd rebodied vintage Kens on Volks bodies and it looked really good.
Emma is adorables!
