Well, now I feel like my problems are so petty compared to what you've been going through
But anyway, Caesar's Windsor is closed because of a labor strike, and *of course* they decide to strike right before the day I'm going there with my family for my birthday! I mean, I hope the problems get sorted out to everyone's satisfaction, I'm just upset because it was poor timing for me.

There's no such thing as a petty problem. Well, maybe a hangnail is petty. LOL

We welcome SUX of all kinds, here. Sometimes it's just fun to gripe! hehehe

Ugh. My MH doll head I'm working as decided that it no longer likes me sealant. After weeks of stripping and repainting, I think I'm just going to have to throw it away...which now means I have to hunt down a new head. Really frustrating. It was okay with sealant, but when I went to spray it with it's last coat BOOM1 Sticky. It was all downhill from there.

Because I know someone is going to ask, I use Liquitex. I have used it before on both bodies and heads, and it has worked just fine. It's just this head that is rechecking it. I am considering looking into other sealant options, though, just not MSC or the type. I prefer working with non-toxic brands.

My sister says she isn't lazy but woe is her she's been stuck on the couch all day with her lap top because her head and neck hurt too much to move so she can't get anything to eat or drink while we're out running errands. She won't go to a doctor because her space alien healer friends will fix her, she'll feel fine to go horse back riding with our cousin tomorrow just you wait. PS, get her super expensive cereal and give her money we can't afford for her hobby.

If she really is sick or dehydrates herself like it or not an ambulance will be called and they can deal with her. Get off your lazy ass I'm not keeping the cat from eating your dinner.

She has real health problems but won't go to a doctor. It's an egotistical control issues game and I don't want to play.

Not playing is the smartest thing you can do. But you already know that.

There is a point where all you can do is say "fine," and let her ruin her own life. Maybe she'll hit bottom and get some sense, maybe she won't and she'll end up in a hospital, but in either case, sweetie, you have plenty of health issues of your own that are totally not your fault and you have no more "spoons" to waste to worry about hers.

Thanks, I know, my mom and I have agreed that if things get bad we call an ambulance.

It definitely has nothing to do with me, I was raised differently, I've grown up to take personal responsibility. Long long stories about how we were raised differently and this is exactly what my mother deserves for how she raised my sister. The only remotely good news is she doesn't have any kids or a substance abuse problem to add to things.
