They have a couple of the Coffin Bean dolls at my local Big Lots... I've been spoiling my resin lately, though, so I haven't had the cash for new monsters. I kind of want to focus on the monsters I have at the moment, anyway. I might photograph them this weekend, all 16 of them.

When it comes to Monster stuff I want I've taken a bit of the approach that if I can afford it to get it when I see it. Somewhere between scalper prices and what happened with Liv and other lines I've wanted I'd rather be on the side of having them then missing out.

And it looks like there's a good enough market for piecing out parts you don't want. I've seen enough listings for just shoes, just belts, just a dress, just a nude doll.

I've been known to buy monster parts on occasion. :)

kenaiqueen, your Torali looks adorable in that dress.

It's killing me that they're dragging out the centaur reveal. I really want one... or more. Also, looking forward to some of the Coffin Bean dolls. I found Frankie. But I NEED Robecca Steam Coffin Bean. She is so cute!

I've been wondering whether the centaur proved too difficult/expensive/weird and we just got Neightan as a compromise. Then I remembered this is the doll line with a six-armed spider woman, and there's no reason there shouldn't be a proper centaur too. Actually, I kind of love that's the kind of things we've come to expect from them.

Maybe the centaur is for Comicon. Anyone know if the horse legs are jointed are not? Neighthan with his horse head would be from a different monster parent.

I have to agree that when they do neat stuff they do neat stuff. I wish I knew if they were going to make Gory the Vampire or not because of my reroots. The last Draculaura I did ended up with her hair the exact same colors as Elissabat :/ I want to do non show color combos incase they end up living with me for awhile.

Avea Trotter (the centaur/harpy) and the mermaid.

Re: mods, I was just thinking how there are so many MH centaur mods out there, and some are amazing. It's a shame if they're getting upstaged by an official release (again: not many doll lines you can say that about).

I don't haven an official number, but I assume the release is going to be very soon. They are slated for Spring of 2014, which is about now, and you can find these dolls popping up on Amazon at scalper price. Usually, that means their release is just around the corner. Of course, that all depends on where you live. In America, I hear they end up in the South before the end up anywhere else. If you live across the pond, I hear it can take longer.

I just ran over to a monster high doll forum I'm a part of and I'm hearing rumors of a release in June/July.

Either way, soon, so stay on alert!

Well, if anyone happens upon the centaur, I'll definitely be willing to buy her from you. Retail cost plus shipping and a few dollars for your troubles, totally. I don't foresee myself making regular trips to wal-mart just to track one down. x.x
