I found a beautiful baby doll, Darak doll Dodo (nevermind the name her face is adorable).... and it's April. Had I found her a month earlier, I'd have been able to order her. Gonna have a weak hope that I find her second hand or the company opens orders for her again.. Mrfh. Stupid late Puppets.

That's the original chest, which came as a 64cm. The Nuevo is the newer model (it has the smoother chest.) The only real difference between the 64 and 68 are the legs. They call it the 68cm long legs body. hahah... the chest from clavicle to hips is the same for both dolls at 20.5 cm.

You can't go wrong with Granado, they're seriously my favorite brand. The engineering alone makes them worth the price, plus they have a wonderfully mature realistic style.

McCalls has two patterns in their costume line that are OBVIOUSLY Cersei and Daenerys. I got copies to try and downsize.

Thanks Trethowan! Yea I wasn't sure what I was looking at - those particular owner photos seem so much less muscle-man muscly than the company shots if that makes any sense.

Actually another Question: Any idea how the two body types pose old type vs. nuevo? Most importantly, which is more capable of holding slinky waist poses?

Hrmm from the pose-shots of the nuevo I suspect Frank/Hansel will end up on that body just becuase of what seems to be possible! But if the older body can hold those poses too it's a more difficult choice of aesthetics...



Right time to start saving/prioritising the order I'm going to go about this... It's a matter of who is more important Szesil or Frank and which sculpt I'd rather take the risk of running out of time on Charles/Hansel...

I've got a feeling that Frank/Hansel is going to win this round since realistic smirking male faces are so hard to come by! Much as I love Charles' sculpt the general "grumpy Manly man" sculpt type itself is not impossible to find since Iplehouse produces similar looking guys. But eek Hansel would be the 1st "permanently mod a dolls face" project where the underlying sculpt matters, even if it is only an eye-opening...

I think the hardest thing to make would be the headdress. I wish iple still made darker skinned dolls. Brown skin would be perfect. I get discouraged though because my wife starts asking me how im going to do it and is generally unenthusiastic about it. I know I shouldn't let it discourage me though.

Have you check the Doll choice system? They release light brown, ebony and grey skin there
