Checked with Denver Doll on a question I had about Doll Chateau Stacy and they said if I order with the body blushing she will have the tattoos like in the fullset pictures. *Bounces excitedly* I think I will be ordering her very soon. ^_^

I ordered an Aileen Doll Ashes dragon from DOLKStation. Won't be ordering Stacy for awhile now but I wanted to get the blue dragon for my aunt since she's been wanting one for awhile and this one is just perfect.

Thanks Trethowan! Yea I wasn't sure what I was looking at - those particular owner photos seem so much less muscle-man muscly than the company shots if that makes any sense.

Actually another Question: Any idea how the two body types pose old type vs. nuevo? Most importantly, which is more capable of holding slinky waist poses?

Hrmm from the pose-shots of the nuevo I suspect Frank/Hansel will end up on that body just becuase of what seems to be possible! But if the older body can hold those poses too it's a more difficult choice of aesthetics...



Right time to start saving/prioritising the order I'm going to go about this... It's a matter of who is more important Szesil or Frank and which sculpt I'd rather take the risk of running out of time on Charles/Hansel...

I've got a feeling that Frank/Hansel is going to win this round since realistic smirking male faces are so hard to come by! Much as I love Charles' sculpt the general "grumpy Manly man" sculpt type itself is not impossible to find since Iplehouse produces similar looking guys. But eek Hansel would be the 1st "permanently mod a dolls face" project where the underlying sculpt matters, even if it is only an eye-opening...

Sorry I didn't see this sooner. The older body poses better than the Nuevo, and fits traditionally sized SD clothes. The Neuvo is thicker in the chest and a lot of shirts tend to be too tight (according to owner complaints/comments on DoA thread.)

If there's a specific pose you want I could see what my boy could do. I have the 64cm old body.

Sounds like the Hansel is perfect for you! They're discontinuing a number of heads (if they haven't already) so you'd better run over there to check and see if Hansel made the cut. I can't remember which ones they were discontinuing, unfortunately. They posted it on FB a while back.

Thanks! Yea I think the older 68cm body suits Frank/Hansel better, thinner but still Masculine with a capital M. (Oliver Thornton's take on Frank and Anthony Heads are the main influences for my idea of Frank's physical appearance though of course Tim Curry is The Master of the role)

Sounds great! The body sales are always the first three days of each month and no other. Next body sale is June 1-3. Dunno why they do it that way. Maybe it's easier to process orders on a monthly basis? Some heads are limited releases, some are done by lottery (rarely) and some you can get all the time. It's funny how it's always different.

The new one they have out is Fabio, and he's just up for sale for this month. I don't know if he'll come back later or not, or come back as a different set. We ask but often they'll say "they'll release the info soon." hah... oh well.

I'm holding out for an Asian head, and I might get the Nuevo body since I already have the other.

Yooooo, I managed to snag a set of three wigs from an auction on ebay for $28! Not to mention they're the kind of hairstyle I've been looking for for my doll, which makes it ten times better!
