Got my hybrids in, trying to get the mermaid tail to do it's thing to help her stand. Her skin tone glows but my camera won't catch it. Over all satisfied. Lots of pictures http://dolfielittles.typepad.com/blog/2 ... brids.html

I just recently got my first two dolls, a Ghoul Spirit Frankie and Ghoul's Night Out Lagoona. I'm hoping to repaint them, but right now I'm just having fun posing them, because I never realized just how well they held a pose! I've taken a few photos of them at the playground at my church (where I unfortunately lost one of Lagoona's leg fins -- it kept falling off and I lost it in the ground... stuff!), but the lighting there wasn't the best since it was the middle of the day. Ah well, I got them to do some neat shots, at least!

You can probably get spare fins on Ebay. I'd love to see the pictures and the painting when it's done.

If you can't find any spare fins I think I have some around. I was trying to take apart a Lagoona doll for a custom, but I couldn't get her lower legs to come off. I'm pretty sure the fins are in my parts box.

Here's another dress I made

DollyKim, CrazyYoungCatLady, thank you both! I've actually found quite a few replacement fins online, but I just haven't bought them yet.

Also, that dress looks adorable! It also looks quite nice on Draculara especially, I think.

Are any of you ghouls or mansters attending InConJunction? There's a Monster High discussion panel scheduled for Saturday at 11:00 a.m. and I'd love to *not* be the only person on the panel.... Plus, great excuse to have a meet-up. :D I don't have anything else Saturday except table duty until the Girl Genius panel at 5. (Participants welcome there as well, BTW.) You do have to either buy a ticket or be on 6 hours of panels to get in, but if you're planning on going anyway it would be a lot of fun.

We had to go up to the big town on Sunday for a day trip so I got to run thru ToysRUs to look for some of the newer versions and exclusives. Sadly, no dolls came home with me. No sign of the hybrids. They had the werecats Zombie Shake, but I wasn't even tempted. I really want that mermaid.
Just because you CAN doesn't mean you SHOULD.

Got a Dracubecca and Neighthan Rot. She's kind of pretty, like a pink robot. He has a "rooted" brushable tail. http://dolfielittles.typepad.com/blog/2 ... becca.html
