This is a random thought - would epoxy (I'm thinking of epoxy putty - stuff like Milliput) cure if you mixed pastel powder or other dry pigment into it? Or could you mix it in with the paper clay to colour it? Might be another way to get the right colour if it would.
Remember, the reverse of stressed is desserts.

That's a good thought and I'm sure it would! But my pastel selection is very limited and I don't know if I could find a good match for the obitsu white...
