Yay!! The words "buying" and "shoes" in the same sentence is always fun. :-p

Gotta love buying plenty of stuff for dolls and not really using them.

Oh hey there's a pretty dress for a doll who's wearing a homemade outfit for about a year now.

I'm a totally sucker for shoes, both in life and doll size! Luckily for my hoarding disorder I have difficulties in finding shoes that fit my dolls...
My 27 and 25 cm Obitsu have 6 or 7 pair, Yukina, my 11 cm, got about the same number. Mostly elegant shoes, boots and sandals. Zenobia, my CY girl, has 3 pair of heeled boots in different colors and I desperately want something different ^^' (but had no success yet in finding it).
My Hujoo Freyas, my Dikadoll Mian Mian and my Freyr don't wear shoes.
My 3 MSD have all one pair of shoes each, in three different styles  but I plan to get at least three each. I change their clothing a lot, especially Dahlia's, and I love to have matching shoes.

I really do not like shopping for shoes for dolls. They never fit. Hieronym has two pairs of shoes (both fit well, luckilly) and Edwina (SD) has three pairs of shoes, but only one pair fit her feet. When I am buying shoes I always look for size in cm. I order shoes that should fit, but later when I put them on Edwina, they are too small or too big.
I think I have to buy more pairs of resin feet and every pair of feet sand to different size. And then when I will be changing Edwina's shoes, I will change her feet as well.

I'm a horrible dolly-mom. They tend to go barefoot more often than not. In the winter they will at least wear socks so their feet don't get cold.

Let's see:
For my 4 MSD's I have 4 pairs: 2 girly and 2 neutral. My boy obviously wears a gender neutral pair, if anything. The girls can fight over who is stuck with one of the other pairs. So, technically, everyone can have something on their feet. They may not be happy with their options, though.

For my 2 YoSDs I have 2 identical pairs that are actually the "shoes" from a Ty kid doll (you actually ave to cut them off of the Ty's legs as they aren't removable)

I also have 1 random pair that was supposed to be MSD sized, but were too small. The can technically fit the YoSd feet, but they are a little big looking.

The 16th scale girl and obitsu, have nothing.
The other couple of randoms all came with default shoes, so they all have something. Normally they go bare foot too, though.

I just made some socks for Amiga this week, so she's wearing those while waiting for her new shoes to come in. I really hope they'll fit! I've thought about trying a blow dryer on the ones I already have, to see if warming them up helps.

i've given in and come to the realization that the only real way i'll ever find pairs in the right styles and colors,
that well and properly fit the miniscule OBITSU 27cm feet of my own girls,
is to get good at making my own pairs, no way around it. this is the best i've managed so far;

Awesome job Tasuke! How did you do it? Did you find a good pattern or tutorial? I can make some shoes, but not ones that look like that!
