I work on Halloween, but I asked my boss if we could come into work in costume, and his reaction was rather priceless. He looked at me for a minute, and went "Uhh... normally, I'd say we could see if we could work it out, but with you being the one asking, I'm not so sure. You'll probably come in with some elaborate costume with ridiculous everywhere that takes up half the store." ~laugh

But my birthday is the day before Halloween, and I have that day off, so we might try to do something fun.

Surprise him. Come dressed as a sales associate.

Almost all of my employees have asked for the day off, but I really don't mind working. Naturally, I will come in costume and hopefully get a few chuckles out of the customers. I did a zombie theme last year and see no reason not to reuse it. ;)

we get to dress up at work, but I'm not sure if I will. I do have my area decorated with black cats, ghouls, and ghosties :)

For the evening I'm just going to watch TV probably and avoid trick or treaters. Given I can't have any sugar I don't want to have any candy in the house - tooooo tempting.

Here's my first test of my 'jammies' costume for work. Well, not quite for sleeping LOL!

I also made a sash in case the corset proves too be too much altho it is perfectly comfortable for standing up. Just no bending or sitting for very long, but since I'm expected to actually work, I may need to take it off.

Looks great :)

I still don't have anything to wear when I take Xavier out. I do have a faceless black hood, and there's a cape in the house, but not scythe or Grim Reaper accessories.
