A Nano Haruka and a custom Steffie.

Okies so I was heading out the door for another exam and the mail happens to come as I head out the door. Andrea's half of the trade and on the bus I decide to open it (cuz I'm totally normal like that)...

Imagine to my utter surprise Andrea gave me Music Row. *squee* Possibly the only eyehole doll I'll ever own in this scale I completely am grateful for DollsAhoy for this girl. Btw, check out DollsAhoy's flickr for her other awesome, awesome customs. Weirdly enough this is the second custom doll not made by me that I own. And I've been collecting for awhile.

These pics were taken after my exam. It was a gorgeous day...

This Steffie was an Acetone shrinking experiment I did a few years back. I was feeling stressed out by exams so I painted this vintage Licca style eyes on her and I quite like how they turned out. Cuz her head is 10% smaller she can only fit Obitsu bodies. Which sucks considering her skintone. She's on a pale obitsu for these pics lols.

Her hair is from a fashionista head with the face cut off lol. *lazy*

Hmmm, they seem to be plotting something.

I forgot Music Row's hand was glued so.. I kinda broke it. She's rocking the tape wristband until I get more glue.

Image
Image
I have a feeling Music Row will be my stoic woobie.

Image
It took me FOREVER to get her to stand up so I'm proud of this pic.

Image
Cuz I carry a doll sized lightsaber in my pencil case. Plus Music Row needed to stand so this makes a great stand.

Well, until there's a light spring breeze.

Forced Perspective picture gogogo.

I might be utterly in luv with this doll xD

Very cool, John! Back when I had money, I used to be a somewhat regular customer of Andrea's, so I'm obviously very fond of her work.

Beautiful dolls :) I just love Music row's eyes though, so clear and striking.

Hey John, does Licca-Steffi have painted Obitsu hands?

Thanks everyone!

Mary Kathryn, she's on a type 3 pullip body. Very delicate (barbie shoes are TOO BIG on her O_o) but yeah xD

Mlatch, Licca Steffie has hands stolen from a Mego and custom fitted onto Obitsu posts. I imagine you should something similiar with a another action figure xD

Thanks! I hadn't thought about Megos but I have a figure of Jon from CHiPs (good Lord, that company had some strange licenses back in the day) with similar gloved hands. If I ever find him again, I may have to try that swap.

I've also considered using Obitsu gripping hands with a few coats of Plasti-Dip: LINK

They're both quite pretty :) Though it did take me a while to realise the black and gold things were hands.

Do obitsu's dye? Or maybe someone with an airbrush could make her a better matching body? Hrm.
