Mirodoll Sale

Postby Trethowan » Thu Nov 06, 2014 6:50 pm

Looks like Mirodoll is having a Winter event. Their dolls seem to be permanently 40% off but they're offering an extra $12 bucks off each sculpt. It lasts from November 5th to January 10th. I'm tempted to pick up a male MSD body to serve as a generic fairy soldier. That would be really handy!

::smacks forehead:: My saving grace is that their dolls are not my usual style. If I thought I could plop my MNF Lishe head on their MSD body, I'd probably get one instead of selling her, though.

I picked up an SD girl on a previous sale. Some of the joints are a little funny, but this is the only SD I have that will sit up w/out needing an artfully placed hand or two behind.

I think this is the Wind sculpt? In the light tan.

She's a cutie, E-beth.

I'll admit the MSD wrists are funky and the MSD girl (the older one) had some proportion issues. The SD girl is fantastic though, as are the 60 and 68 SD males. I wish the hands had a bit more movement, they're very static looking, but I suppose you get what you pay for. In Miro's case I think you get a lot for very little money. I love cheap bodies cause mine are always in clothes so it doesn't matter what they look like. I can put more money into nice heads this way.

That bunny is really cute. He reminds me of Easter candy.

Since there are some mirodoll owners right here, I would like to ask, do they have S hooks in their legs/ankles(SD girl bodies)? As far as I know, they do not have s hooks in their arms, but i am not entirely sure about their legs.

The MSDs do not have S-hooks in the hands and feet. I think it is the same for the larger dolls.

SD girl did not have hooks. I added hooks. Had to scrape a little resin out of one foot but not too hard to swap out to hooks for hands/feet.
