Strangely I have only played D&D once! The storyline was very short and the DM sort of lost interest. I have played/run stories in the World of Darkness universe though. Vampires and werewolves and what not. My friends are a horror loving bunch. The social aspect is pretty amazing! I love when the story totally devolves into people discussing what their character would do in x situation. I have had entire conversations about what a characters favorite color is and what it means about their personality. Also any excuse to be lazy and serve pizza is fine by me

Sounds like a great way to work out characters if you write or work on doll characters.

Role playing is awesome, and great for ccharacters. I love D&D and am trying to run one Pathfinder game and hope to play another.

the social aspect is my favorite part. The only times I see people face to face is doll meets and D&D.

These days I don't get out much. I've worked out a very delicate eat-nap-play schedule and I don't like anything messing with it. Fussy baby is fussy when he doesn't get his proper naps.

I used to drag my computer down to my sister's house and we'd do LAN parties. We used to always get complimented in parties because we played together so well. haha... easy to communicate when you're in the same room. hehehe... I'm reminded of that WoW episode in South Park. XD

My favorite D&D games were at the house of a friend who is a gourmet chef. We would Paypal him money in advance and he would prepare something fabulous for us. (My favorite was the mushrooms stuffed with cheeses, garlic and crab.)
Tomorrow night is Game Night at our church. We will be taking Div-It, Sushi-Go and Farkel to play.

As far as tabletop games go, I play Pathfinder pretty regularly. If you're interested in tabletop gaming, I'd recommend the Pathfinder Society - basically, you can create characters and register them online, and then play them at any Pathfinder Society game. It's a good way to try it without committing to a long-running game.

I'd love a group to play World of Darkness, but I don't know anyone else who plays it and I'm not a big fan of online games. I'm moving fairly soon, though, and I might be able to join the area's LARP group.

On the video game front, I've been playing Pokemon: Omega Ruby and Persona Q. I recently finished the Fate route of Fate/Stay Night, so I'm taking a breather before I dive into Unlimited Blade Works.

I tried to get a church game group going but there weren't enough of us who wanted to play.

Our church is a little unusual, we also have a Sci-Fi club. :D

Did anyone get Majora's Mask 3D?

That's pretty cool, Richila. Pretty cool indeed.

My friend has Majora's Mask, but I don't know anything about it. I've been trying to avoid WoW for a while so I can focus on the million other things I have going on right now.
