It almost looks like Mulan is using the same fair-skinned plastic as all the princesses except Jasmine, Pocahontas, and Tiana. Of course nobody has answered me if it was possible to swap out the legs with the sitting jointed knee ones I have seen at Walmart.

Oh and for those looking for male bodies there is going to be a male Liv doll!

The 10 Disney princesses are at the store BUT YOU HAVE TO PRINT OUT A COUPON to get 20% off. As I don't have a printer or ink I told them where they could shove this surprise, no princesses for me I've decided. But it's still a great deal for the dolls, they're a bit more pale than the 100 poses. Mulan is pale but Jasmine and Pokeahotass (Pavolovian response) are dark, Poke is actually darker. The faces are different styles, Poke more natural, Rapunzel had round instead of almond eyes. Fashion packs and princes are still 2 for $20.

If the legs are strung like the regular Fashionistas, it's no problem to swap legs. (Sorry, haven't seen a Princess close up.)

Looked up the new MH dolls mentioned in the comments on that Flickr account. A beach line, and there's no Lagoona? What???

One way to solve the princess problem would be to buy the cheapest princess you can find and swap her head with a 100 Poses Fashionista. You can usually find both in the same store to compare, a slightly lighter face isn't that bad. As for the outfits many of them are designed for kids play so they aren't that fancy and you might do better making your own.

If you heat the rubber legs and pop them off, you can sorta rip out the hip connection and string a pair of legs through the hip gap...

Also, Male LIV dolls are VERY welcomed 8D

Looks like the Barbie Basics guys aren't any more jointed than Edward which is a shame because I like #16.

Will be looking for Mr Liv

A Liv boy would be wonderful! New teen bodies are always welcome, and there's a chance their gear might even fit Obitsu guys. :)

I hope there'll be a Fashionista guy of the right skintone for at least one of the Basics. Mattel is still showing a great deal of "sorry, we just don't get it" about the Fashionistas, though (Give the guys a wrist joint and sacrifice their torso joint? Pop-and-swap head and neck for the girls? o_O? And there's _still_ only two skin tones....) so I'm not holding my breath.

Oooo! I wonder if the Livboy will have cute short cut wigs or if it'll be molded hair?
