Overstrung, dang it!

I just got my Kidz N Cats doll yesterday, and like the Amelia Thimble I got last week, she is so tightly strung, she won't hold a pose well. Thoroughly annoyed right now! I haven't ever strung a doll and really don't want to have to do it. The Amelia is at least a resin and easier to access the stringing but she's so freakin' tiny. The Kidz doll is a slim body 18" play doll so it's not really meant for restringing ease. I'm thinking about sending at least the big one to a doll hospital for a fix. Anyone here have a Kidz doll and could give me any suggestions?
Just because you CAN doesn't mean you SHOULD.
