The oldest articulated doll?

All I can say is it's the oldest one I've heard of. Earlier dolls I've seen in archaeology magazines/books tend to be a single piece of human shaped wood - though I don't claim to be an expert by any means on this topic.

It's really incredible how well-preserved it is. I love her expression and the detail in her hair.

Roman dolls are awesome.
(Although the earliest articulated doll is obviously that prehistoric Barbie from the other thread :) )
