Resin Repair?

Hey Everyone!
I'm looking for some help and am hoping for a few good suggestions I have a wonderful yo-sd boy that I often handle and I've had him for about three years. Echo was my first bjd ever and I love him to death. Unfortinatly, while taking off his boot today, his foot got stuck and then it snapped back. His foot hit his ankle area and caused a small crack. It's not chipped so there's no missing piece but there's defiantly a lip now. I'm curious to know if anyone's had a similar experience and could give me some advice on how to fix him up. Any ideas are greatly appreciated!

A picture would help when giving you advice. I have used a lot of different things depending on whether it was a repair or reinforcement.

Oh, there's a chip out. It's quite clear. I'd suggest reinforcing the cracked area with superglue. The best one for this would be Zap-A-Gap, which is available here http://www.junkyspot.com/obindex.html under "supplies," although you may be able to find it locally. It's specifically made to get into and fill small cracks.

You've got a chip, a microchip on the inside and two cracks. That microchipped area looks like it is going to give you a bigger chip if you don't reinforce it soon.

Do you think I should boil his leg like people do to hands to change their pose? I was thinking of doing that so I could smooth out the surface and then add epoxy to the inside of his leg to reinforce it.

Boiling the leg won't change the chips. Boiling only lets you carefully move something thin like fingers, or make dents pop out again. I wouldn't. I'd fill the gaps with glue and try to reinforce with epoxy.

To my eye there is part that is bended, and boiling the leg might make possible to reshape it back to original. So I'm with DollLover here.

As for reinforcing, as mentioned epoxy and superglue are good for that.
