My DreamingDoll Misora "Mia"

Postby ParlourGoddess » Thu Jul 16, 2015 10:50 pm

I mostly collect dolls from 5 Star (Tumnus, Becca, Rex and Vivian so far) as well as my first doll, which is RS Mei. But I really wanted another 1/6 doll, and 5 Star really doesn't have much choice in that size any more.
Soooo. . .I caved and bought Misora from her previous owner. I'm so glad I did. She is a real sweetie. Her face just looks like she must be a very gentle soul.
(excuse the mess behind her on my desk LOL)

I want to make clothes for Mia (I shortened Misora to Mia, and also it's the name of my favorite niece). But I haven't figured out what her style should be yet. Most of my dolls wear casual human-style clothing. I see Mia as a teenager, but I can't see her wearing anything too wild or bright colors.
So far she's wearing a top and cardigan from an outfit by Wimukt, and some knit pants I made for her.

Here she is in a top I made from a scrap of fabric, just to have something on her when she first arrived.

She's so pretty. I love the pants and the top you made. They turned out great and look so right on her. :D

Thanks Faydreams. My next doll goal is to have a boy for Mia. I'm looking at several different boys, from different companies. He needs to fit with her personality and style. But that's down the road. I need to watch my money (don't we all) and I've been spending too much on dolls lately.

Very sweet face. Congrats on getting her.
Just because you CAN doesn't mean you SHOULD.
