Two overpriced thrift store dolls, a Sindy and a vintage Barbie clone. I should probably have saved my money, but between them they were wearing most of the 1964 Barbie in Holland outfit, and I already have the clogs so...

I just bought a Design a friend doll off ebay for £12. The plan is to make her clothes and eventually give her to my sons GF's daughter though it will be bottom of the list as have tons I need to do with my other dolliehs...

Well, I entered the lottery for Volks' new Rin Tohsaka Dollfie Dream. I'm really nervous about it; I've never done a lottery order before. Here's hoping I get lucky and actually win her. My other concern is that she'll be too tall next to Saber (and Archer, if I do get a tan Smartdoll Eiji to be him), but I think actually getting her comes first.

Christmas shopping very nearly complete now (only awkward to buy for Mother left now really), just bought a load of TV boxsets that my Dad would never have tried for himself. Most from the local video store and one from the oh so convenient but massive Amazon.

...And picked up a relatively cheap Taeyang Captain Hook in the process, £25 from Amazon, pretty cheap for the UK market. I do envy you guys with the Tuesday Morning stores!

(I'd sworn no doll purchases until new year.. And only then the eventual Mcgann and items for existing dolls... So much for that!)

All the DD2s, DD3s, and DDDy are relatively the same height (+/- hair and heels).
If you have the Azone Saber (on the Obitsu 50cm body if I remember correctly), the Volks Rin Tohsaka will be about 4-5cm taller.

Yeah. The issue is that that translates to being about 12-15 cm taller than her in full scale, and Rin is only about 5 cm taller than Saber in canon (Rin is 159 cm; Saber is 154). It's a minor issue, but it's still one that bugs me.
